Terms of use
Last updated: 7 October 2026
These terms cover your use of the Wacha app. By using Wacha, you agree to them. We've kept them short and plain.
Who we are
Wacha is made by Mukindia Collection Limited, a company registered in Kenya (“we”, “us”). You can reach us at support@
Who can use Wacha
Wacha is for adults aged 18 or over.
Not medical advice
Wacha supports your own decision to quit smoking or cut back on drinking. It isn't medical advice, a medical device or a treatment program, and it doesn't replace a doctor. Health information in the app is general, not personal to you.
If you drink heavily every day, or have had seizures, hallucinations, severe shaking or confusion when cutting back before, talk to a doctor before reducing. Stopping suddenly can be dangerous. In an emergency, contact your local emergency services.
Alarms and notifications
Wacha's alarm and reminders are scheduled on your phone. They depend on your phone's settings (for example notification permissions, silent mode, Focus or Do Not Disturb, and battery saving), so they may sometimes be late or not arrive. Please don't rely on them for anything where a missed alert could cause harm.
Your information
What you enter stays on your phone, as described in our privacy policy. Because we don't hold a copy, we can't recover it if you delete the app or lose your phone, except through your phone's own backups.
Using the app
We give you a personal, non-transferable licence to use Wacha on devices you own or control. Please don't copy, resell, reverse-engineer or misuse the app. Wacha and its content belong to us.
If you downloaded Wacha from Apple's App Store, Apple's standard Licensed Application End User Licence Agreement also applies. Apple isn't responsible for the app or its support; we are.
Payments
Wacha is currently free. If we add paid features, purchases will go through the App Store or Google Play, and we'll update these terms and show the price and renewal terms clearly before you pay.
No guarantees
We work hard to make Wacha useful and reliable, but we provide it “as is”. We can't promise it will be free of errors or always available, or that it will help you reach your goal. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses from using the app. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that can't be excluded.
Changes
We may update these terms as Wacha changes. We'll change the date at the top, and tell you in the app about any important change.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Kenya.
